Eckel Media Corp. was founded by Erik J. Eckel, a freelance author,
communications and public relations consultant.
Erik
Eckel earned a B.A. in English from the University of Louisville. He
earned Microsoft Engineer accreditation from Sullivan University.
He
served as Executive Editor for CNET Networks' TechRepublic Press, a
multimillion-dollar technical publishing operation. Eckel previously
fulfilled roles as Data Communications Product Manager for IXC (now
Broadwing), Corporate Communications Representative for UniDial
Communications (now Lightyear), and other technical and communications
positions for leading organizations. |
Distinction.
Erik Eckel served as a 2003 The Courier-Journal Forum Fellow. The
editorial position - recipients of which work closely with the Pulitzer
Prize-winning newspaper's executive board - is statistically more
difficult to obtain than entrance to Harvard University.
